Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast
Start your day right with this classic breakfast meal.
Serves: 1
Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter, plus extra for spreading
Salt & freshly ground black pepper
2 large free-range eggs
1 tablespoon cream
2 slices wholemeal toast
50-60g smoked salmon trimmings
Method
Step 1
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat.
Step 2
Add in the beaten egg, stirring constantly, cook slowly to make sure they stay creamy, for no less than 5 minutes
Step 3
Once thickened, add the cream and smoked salmon trimmings
Step 4
Remove from the heat and season with salt & pepper.
Step 5
Serve on hot buttered toast.
